With over 30 years of experience in hardwood flooring , I built my foundation in the field—where installation and site finish craftsmanship and precision matter most. As the industry evolved and demand for pre-finished flooring grew, I focused on mastering the finishing process to bridge the gap between convenience and true custom quality.
After years of refinement, I developed a finishing approach that captures the rich, tailored look of a traditional field finish while delivering the durability and consistency of a manufactured product. This breakthrough led me to transition into producing pre-finished flooring designed to meet the standards of a luxury brand.
Today, my work combines real-world expertise with an artistic eye, resulting in flooring that offers both high performance and a distinctive, custom aesthetic.

Growing up in the lumber industry, it was only natural that I would build a career in hardwood flooring. After co-owning a hardwood flooring manufacturing company for over 20 years, I developed a deep appreciation not just for the craft, but for the character and story behind every piece of wood.
When the business was sold, I wasn’t ready to walk away from the sawdust, the splinters, or the work I’ve always loved. That passion led me to join the Urban Plank team, where I continue to bring experience, dedication, and a genuine love for the industry into everything I do.
